About

At age 14, with a love for art, a dark aesthetic, and theatrics, Alex sought her own work experience at scare attraction The London Bridge Experience and The London Tombs,  She loved the energy created by the actors performing to audiences, but more so adored the behind the scenes secrets. She was introduced to professionals creating their characters and was captivated by their use of make-up and SFX to enhance their performance. This buzz inspired her playfulness in experimenting with make-up and SFX and eagerly awaited each weekend's shifts to show off her latest character design. She loved the environment and working with the other actors so much that she was later hired and continued to work there for 3 years.

Following her A-levels, Alex attended London College of Fashion where she studied her BA in Hair and Make-up for Film and TV. She wholeheartedly committed to her BA; her devotion to learning and practising saw her regularly as the first one in, and the last one to leave the workshop,  She was keen to work from the workshop so to learn from other's work as they progressed too.

Since graduating from LCF with a 2:1, Alex has thrown herself into the industry, keen to pursue her career and continue gaining and learning from experiences. She mostly has film experience, and particularly loves SFX and prosthetics for film, but has also gained theatre, music video, fashion and beauty experience.

In between work, Alex enjoys creating her own projects and furthering her prosthetics knowledge. She practices sculpting, moulding and application, but also loves painting portraits with oils, reading make-up magazines and watching films/TV.
